Drew is hands down the best photographer who brings out the best in his subjects. Drew is willing to go the extra mile for the best shot. Recently, I asked Drew to photograph my daughter's maternity shoot, which is usually a pretty straightforward easy task. My daughter wanted her shoot to include her fur family and at the stable. Add one big horse and 2 energetic labs to the picture. Drew was not phased at all by the challenge and embraced every part of it. Who else would lay down in a field of horse poop to "get" the shot??? I would NEVER ask anyone else to take our family pictures. He's a 10. We are lucky to have found him. Drew - newborn pics next?
Drew has gotten to know our family. I believe it is important that when you hire a photographer the person you hire is the person that understands the quirks with your family. Not everyone laughs or is comfortable with the same approach. Drew's personality is great to work with. The photos and his ability to capture the right moments at the right time is impressive. I would recommend that when you are looking for consistency in greatness and getting photos that can go beyond what standard high resolution cameras can do then Drew is your professional photographer.
Drew is a great photographer and so fun to work with. I have used him to take family pictures, headshots for work and he photographed a corporate event for me as well. The pictures came out great each time. He took time to find great places to go for the best shot and was always early to be sure he was set up in time. He makes you feel comfortable and relaxed and is great with kids. I will definitely be using him for any future photography needs and would recommend him to anyone I know.
Drew's shots were amazing. He photgraphed a corporate event for mw and the pictures were spectacular. He was awesome to work with, professional, zero drama, and he managed to get great phots while unobtrusively navigating our crowd of guests. Drew is a ton of fun to work with. He does a lot of background work to make the shoot easy. He has ideas of where to shoot, but can easily move with the flow if an opportunity arises. He looks for colors and textures to bring the photos depth. He has photographed our family for years and always manages to capture our daughter’s light in her eyes and smile.
Drew is so much fun to work with! His energy carried through our entire session and he really made a day of professional office photos feel like a party. Drew brought his creativity into each shot. We couldnt be happier with the results!
Drew's technical ability in composition and lighting is only exceeded by his relaxed, sociable manner. He captured both candid moments and poses, and even after our four sons started to get hungry and tired, Drew pressed on and found ways to draw them in. He has superb recommendations for Old Town Alexandria spots and even arranged the weather to be just right! ;-) We've only seen a small sample of the photos themselves, but the overall experience deserves this entry as much as the final product will, we're sure!
Sean, Ben and I had so much fun during our photographic session with Drew. He really knows how to make everyone relax and forget that he is there and of course captures the best moments in a every photograph. All the photos turned out beautifully and we will definitely be using him again in the future. Thanks Drew for a great session.
Drew took several head shots for our team and several candid shots throughout the course of our group meeting. The shots were amazing. The pictures were not only excellent, but he seemed to also be able to capture the individuals personality in the shots he provided. He was incredibly easy to work with, but made it quite fun. We will use his services again, and highly recommend him for any and all events and portraiture.
Drew did an amazing job on my professional portraits. I was search of a photographer that could capture photos that were both professional and fun for my speaking events and Drew was able to deliver. He is a gentleman and is very easy to work with. I will definitely use him again; hopefully next time for family photos.
